Single Tooth Implants in Nantwich

We are provider of single dental implants in Nantwich. This treatment offers a long-term, natural-feeling way to replace one or more missing teeth without involving the teeth either side. Each implant supports its own crown and is planned around your bone, your bite and what you want from your smile.

What are Single Dental Implants?

A single dental implant is a small titanium post placed into the jawbone where a missing tooth used to be. Once the implant has integrated with the bone, a custom crown is fitted on top. Done well, the result looks, functions and lasts much like a natural tooth.

Single implants are typically used when one or several teeth are missing but the surrounding teeth are healthy. Unlike a bridge, which involves preparing the teeth either side of the gap, an implant stands on its own and leaves the neighbouring teeth untouched. This makes it the most conservative long-term option for tooth replacement.

At Globe Dental Practice, single implant treatment is led by Dr Kolade Orungbemi, a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI). Every case starts with a proper assessment of your oral health, your bone and your bite. CBCT 3D scanning is used to plan the placement with precision before any surgery begins.

If you are considering replacing a missing tooth and want to understand whether implants are right for you, our dental implants hub covers the full range of implant treatments we offer.

Three Benefits of Single Tooth Implants Treatment

Looks and Works like a Natural Tooth

A well-placed single implant integrates with your jawbone and supports a custom crown matched to your existing teeth. The result functions like a natural tooth for biting, chewing and speaking, with no sense of a foreign object in your mouth.

Protects Your Remaining Teeth

Unlike a traditional bridge, a single implant does not require us to prepare or alter the teeth either side of the gap. Your healthy neighbouring teeth stay healthy. This makes single implants the most conservative long-term option for replacing a missing tooth.

Long-Lasting, Durable Solution

With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, a well-placed dental implant can last decades. Studies show success rates of around 95 per cent or higher at ten years. The crown on top may eventually need replacing, but the implant itself often outlasts every other restoration in your mouth.

Why Choose Single Tooth Implants at Globe Dental?

ADI Member Implant Lead

Single implant treatment at Globe Dental is led by Dr Kolade Orungbemi (GDC 104618), a member of the Association of Dental Implantology. ADI membership signals an ongoing commitment to implant education, technique and standards.

CBCT 3D Scanning for Planning

Implant planning at Globe Dental uses CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) 3D imaging. This gives a detailed view of your bone, nerves and sinuses so the implant placement is planned with precision before any surgery.

One Clinician from Start to Finish

Every implant case at Globe Dental is led by Dr Kolade from the consultation through to the final restoration. The planning, the surgery and the follow-up are all handled by the same clinician. There is no handing the case between practitioners halfway through.

Frequently Asked Questions

The cost of a single dental implant at Globe Dental depends on whether bone grafting is required, the type of crown fitted on top, and the complexity of your specific case. We give you a clear, written cost at consultation before any treatment begins. For current pricing, please see our fees and finance page. Implant treatment can also be paid for over time through Chrysalis Finance, subject to status.
Most single implant cases take three to six months from start to finish. The implant placement itself is usually a single appointment of around 60 to 90 minutes. After placement, the implant integrates with your bone over the following three to six months. Once integrated, the final crown is fitted. During the healing phase, you will have a temporary tooth or restoration so you are never without something in place.
Most healthy adults with adequate bone in the jaw are suitable for single implants. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and gum disease can affect suitability or timing. The only reliable way to know is a proper consultation that includes an examination and, where needed, a CBCT scan. If you need bone grafting first or treatment for gum disease before implant placement, we will tell you at consultation rather than push ahead with treatment that will not last.
A traditional bridge replaces a missing tooth by anchoring a false tooth to the teeth either side of the gap. This requires those neighbouring teeth to be prepared and crowned, which involves removing healthy tooth structure. A single implant replaces the missing tooth by placing a titanium post directly into the jawbone where the tooth used to be. The neighbouring teeth are left completely untouched. For most patients with healthy teeth either side of the gap, an implant is the more conservative long-term option.
Single dental implants are not routinely available on the NHS in most cases. They are typically considered private treatment, though there are limited exceptions for patients with specific clinical needs. At Globe Dental, single implants are offered as a private treatment.
